Drawn images (either professional or rough scamps) which depict each scene of your project enabling the client to visualise how each scene will look. This process can help identify any areas which may need to be changed at this stage.

Production refers to the acquisition of live action assets. This can take the form of a single cameraman or a full crew for a larger production.
Visual effects, or VFX for short, is the term given to anything that is created outside, or manipulated outside, of a live action shoot. VFX usually integrates live action footage with computer generated imagery to create realistic environments or scenes.
Not to do with connectivity to the internet! Offline editing refers to the initial stage of the editing process. A lower resolution version of the footage is used to simplify searching through and editing large quantities of footage. Once an offline edit is completed and signed off it goes to the online edit. Here the footage is reassembled or conformed using the high quality source material. Colour grading, visual effects and adding of graphics will also be completed at the online stage.
The process of creating moving images, icons, words, and pretty much anything! 2D (two-dimensional) refers to the flat nature of the graphics. 3D (three dimensional) animation relates to 3D representation of geometric data. It is significantly different to 2D in the way it is created and the end result.
