Grosvenor’s Abbeystead estate is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and more than two thirds are designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Protection Area for its rare habitat and the flora and fauna it supports.  

We worked with Grosvenor to produce this short film that demonstrates how their conservation work on the estate is providing a vital breeding ground for red-listed birds such as the Curlew and Lapwing.

Shot on location during the summer of 2025, we interviewed those who work and farm on the estate to illustrate how they manage the land to enhance the population of ground nesting birds.
